Kolkata: West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Dilip Ghosh on Friday repeated his disputable proclamation, saying the individuals who will restrict "Bharat Mata ki jai" and "Jai Sri Ram" trademark will be consigned to history.
Responding to Ghosh's remarks, Trinamool secretary seneral Partha Chatterjee had said such remarks were surprising from the pioneers of a gathering like the BJP, which had a rich legacy.
"He is making such detestable remarks in his insatiability for power and to incite individuals. It is dismal that a political gathering, which has the names of lawmakers like Shyama Prasad Mukherjee related with it, has such individuals as their face in the state," Chatterjee answered.
Hitting out at the decision administering Trinamool Congress, the BJP pioneer had stated, "You are demonstrating your energy here. You are depending on coercion. BJP is there all through the nation. It has 11 crore individuals."
